I am Roochi . A teacher by choice, a researcher by passion, and now, a poet by heart. Writing, for me, is not just a craft. It is a quiet devotion, a way to sit with my soul and listen to the echoes within. My journey in education has been rich and rewarding. I hold a gold medal in MBA, have cleared UGC-NET and JRF, and continue my academic pursuit as a Ph.D. scholar. I serve as the Subject Head for IBDP Economics, guiding young minds with purpose and care. Yet beyond titles and achievements, there lives a softer, deeper part of me. A part that feels emotions like ocean waves, that sees poetry in the ordinary, and that believes every moment has a story to tell. My bond with words began in 2003. I started writing not to be read, but to be understood — first by myself. Every emotion, every thought, every unspoken truth found a home in the pages of my diary. Sometimes I wrote in sentences, sometimes in silence. But always with honesty. This book, ‘Dil Ke Kone Se’, is my first attempt to gather those scattered whispers and offer them to the world. It is more than a collection of poems. It is a magical space where time blurs, where the past returns in a familiar smile, where the present pauses to breathe, and where the future quietly unfolds in hope. These poems are windows. You may find memories hiding in them, or dreams waiting patiently. You may find parts of yourself you had forgotten, or feelings you never put into words. This is not just my journey. It could be yours too. One poem at a time..
